Roof cleaning starts from £450 for a standard semi-detached property. The final figure depends on the roof size, pitch, covering, access and how much moss has built up. Quotations are free and written, and photographs with a postcode are usually enough for an initial figure.

Driveway cleaning starts from around £150, and most domestic driveways fall between £150 and £350. The price depends on the area, the paving type, how badly the joints have emptied, whether kiln-dried sand needs reinstating across the whole drive, and any oil or black-spot staining. We confirm the figure in writing before any work is booked.

Gutter clearing starts from £75 for a standard terraced or semi-detached property, from £110 for a detached house with a single-storey extension and from £150 for a large detached property or multiple runs, with commercial premises quoted per project. The price depends on the length of the runs, the number of elevations, how much moss and silt has built up, and whether the gutters can be reached safely from ground level with the high-reach vacuum system.

Render cleaning starts from £320. The price depends on the elevations involved, the height and access, the render type and condition, and how heavily the surface is affected by algae and organic staining. Render is quoted after assessment rather than by area alone.

No. We soft wash delicate surfaces such as roofs, render and painted masonry at low pressure, and pressure wash hard surfaces such as block paving, concrete, stone and tarmac. The method is chosen for the material — the right method for the surface, not simply more pressure.

Render is normally cleaned by soft washing: low pressure with an appropriate cleaning treatment, so the coating is not driven off the wall. Before starting we check for cracks, loose render, failed coatings and previous repairs, because cleaning is not repair work and existing defects stay visible afterwards.

No. Roof coverings are not high-pressure washed. Moss is removed by hand using appropriate tools, then, where suitable, an appropriate low-pressure soft-wash treatment is applied. High pressure can lift tiles, strip granules from concrete tiles and force water under the covering.

Gutter clearing removes leaves, moss and silt from inside the gutter so water can drain away. Gutter cleaning usually means washing the outside faces of gutters, fascias and soffits so they look clean. They are separate jobs and are quoted separately, though they are often done on the same visit.

It depends on the property rather than a fixed schedule. Houses with overhanging trees or heavy roof moss often need attention once or twice a year, usually after leaf fall. Exposed properties with little surrounding planting can go longer. Watch for overflowing in heavy rain rather than working to a calendar.
