Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you ask for a quotation, book work or send a message.
Who we are
Refresh & Revive Cleaning Solutions Limited (trading as Refresh Revive Exterior Cleaning) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Company number 16672313. Registered office: Nelson Mill, Gaskell Street, Bolton, England, BL1 2QE.
You can contact us about privacy at info@refreshrevivecleaning.co.uk or 07549 064190.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- The property address or postcode where the work would take place.
- Enquiry details you choose to share — the services required, approximate areas, preferred dates, photographs and any notes.
- Basic technical information generated by our hosting provider when a page is served, such as request logs used for security and reliability.
Why we use it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To carry out and administer work you book — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep records of jobs, including before and after photographs — our legitimate interests in documenting work, resolving disputes and insurance (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To send optional marketing — only where you have asked for it, or where you are an existing customer and we are offering a similar service; you can opt out at any time (consent / soft opt-in).
Who processes your information
- Our website backend (Supabase) — quote requests, booking requests and contact messages submitted through this website are transmitted to, and stored in, a hosted Supabase database used by this site.
- Our website hosting provider — serves the site and keeps operational logs.
- postcodes.io — where the address field offers address or postcode suggestions, the characters you type in that field are sent to the postcodes.io public UK postcode lookup service to return matching suggestions. Nothing else from the form is sent there.
- Email, accounting and payment providers — used to correspond with you, invoice and keep required records.
We do not sell your information. We share it with others only where necessary to deliver the service, or where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Records relating to completed work, including invoices, are kept for six full financial years to meet accounting and tax requirements. Job photographs are retained while they remain useful for records or insurance purposes, and are deleted on request unless we need them for a live dispute or claim.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit this website you are asked to make a choice about cookies. Apart from storage that is strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember that choice, no optional cookies are set unless you accept analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics or tag management tools.
Leadfeeder (Dealfront) — Leadfeeder's Web Visitors tracker runs on every page in its consent-managed mode. In that mode it performs company-level business analytics without cookies: matching a visit to the organisation or internet provider behind it and recording page engagement. The information involved may include your IP address, the company or domain matched to it, an approximate location, the pages you view, the referring page and timestamps. Our lawful basis for this cookie-free, company-level measurement is our legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding which businesses are interested in our services. Leadfeeder's optional cookies, which recognise returning visitors across visits, are set only after you select "Accept analytics" — the lawful basis for those is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). It is not used to identify you by name, and Leadfeeder form-submission or individual-level tracking is not enabled on this site.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent removes the Leadfeeder cookies we can access and reloads the page so no further optional cookies are set; cookie-free, company-level measurement continues under legitimate interest, and you may object to it by contacting us. Leadfeeder's own privacy information is available at dealfront.com/privacy.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure or restriction, to object to processing carried out under legitimate interests, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or providers change. The current version is always published on this page.
